Vanishing of the Bees
Category: Exhibitions, Insects etc.I’ll be participating in a fundraiser on January 27 (in Los Angeles) for the documentary “The Vanishing of the Bees”, a feature-length documentary about the implications of the world wide honeybee disappearance.
My bee art will be exhibited, and I’m donating part of the sale price to the fundraiser, as well as any print orders mentioning the film and fundraiser.

Rick! Exactly when/how long will you be in L.A.? Long enough to get together?
And I’m interested to hear more about the documentary, as I’m fascinated by the disappearance. There is something almost mythic about it (in addition to frightening and tragic), perhaps because of the deep symbology of the bee over so much time over so many cultures.
