In the shadow of a blue moon,
a firefly cages unruly atoms,
summer heat struggling to break free.

I like your work and voted.
March madness, traces of summer, gone to lunch, be back soon. Steamy summers bring this magic. LOVE those nights, want them, need them, beacons beckon, lead the way, lighted lovers!!
This capture is incredible!! AWESTRUCK!!
(A collection available soon R.L.?)
Thanks Diane. A firefly book… someday.
Gorgeous photo & beautiful haiku!
Beautiful and lovely words! Love the colors, light and bug capture.
Great shot! I love the wonderful leaves and the bug too!
Totally unique to photograph active fireflies, thanks for sharing Rick!
A wow, Rick, absolutely great. You know, maybe it’s a coincidence or a butterfly effect, yesterday I was thinking about fireflies I saw on a camp trip last year without my DSLR and how I would love to see some again (and be prepared;)). Thx for lifting my mind.
Wow, incredible shot…
