The geek in me can’t help but spit out the scientific name of your ant: Prenolepis imparis.

That’s a very unique image. I love how the leaf fades out of focus on either side of the ant.

I’ve seen some interesting fabric prints that are very photographic. Why not bugs? Birds are more common– here is one that is not photographic:
