Spring pause

Its head still wet from a spring rain, this sparrow
seems to pause like a monk in the humid air.

    Angels always seem to have bird wings. The wet head is her fashion statement.

    What is the sound of one wing clapping, “Mr. Onia”?   And William, you’ll have to catch her first for your tree.

    My guess would be the sound of the other wing if the “one wing” hit it. Otherwise, there could be no clapping, just silent waving.
