Speedy Nuthatch
I’ve been trying to get a good image of this White Breasted Nuthatch
in flight for a while. He’s just a little too fast.
Check out this slightly less elusive passerine.

I love the “slightly less elusive passerine”! What a title that would make.
OK, I’ve provided the title, now who will write the story?
Very nice, Rick. I particularly like the brown and white (almost spotted) rear feathers of the bird, and the photo is so clear yet the bird is obviously flying at great speed.
It must have taken a great deal of patience to get that photo.
Thanks, Cy. He’s faster than the sparrows, and is off only seconds after he arrives.
