		<description>I think what you saw was a water strider (or skimmer or skipper).  They don&#039;t fly, and walk on the surface of lakes and ponds.  Quite cool, using surface tension to move around.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;

I haven&#039;t taken a good picture of one yet, but someday . . .</description>
