Leafhopper bridge

At a rest stop on I-80 in Pennsylvania, on a very wet late summer afternoon, this leafhopper carefully bridges the chasm between one blade of grass and the next. I received some strange stares after this photographic detour, my clothes were so soaked and dirty.

Check out another Pennsylvania image.

Awesome! Like a surfer trying to find the perfect wave on his perfect surfboard…

An unseen ocean in a patch of grass, Denice.

It’s moving from a side street to a four-lane highway.

Watching insects weave through the undergrowth is amazing.   I wish I had such dexterity.
