    Somehow one doesn't think of pollen as being anything but – I don’t know – fairydust! ephemeral. But seeing it this way reveals its weight.

    FYI, there’s a great Frank Black version of “Sugar Daddy,” wherein he sings “When honeybees go shopping/It’s something to be seen.” Check it out.
