A sparrow twists in the humid summer air.
The feathers along the humerus bone of her wing
have been lost or worn away, evidence of a hard life

Nice poem, Denice. Lots of bird poop in our yard.

Rick! Tell your devoted readers/viewers about your trip – the workshop! How’d it go?

I meant to comment more on these past few post of yours, but I’ve been busy. I just LOVED the Goya dog painting and was happy to know about that. Keep up with the paintings and drawings please!

And I loved Grasshopper Nymph– the lighting and colors were gorgeous!

Deb, comment whenever you have the time, I always appreciate it.
I’ll post about my Charlevoix trip today. And I have many more older paintings/drawings to share.

This brought tears to my eyes. That beautiful, determined, fragile little life.

I’m glad to hear my work evoked such a strong reaction, Strangefeather.
