Detroit Photography Group

I’m part of an exhibition (my street photography) at the Book Beat gallery in Oak Park MI, which runs through the end of December.

From the press release:

For several years, an informal group of photographers and photo educators meets on occasion in the Book Beat gallery. The group began as a suggestion by Bill Rauhauser, dean of Detroit photography. One of Bill’s images was included in the famous “Family of Man” exhibit in the early 1960s and he’s the author of several books all centered around Detroit images. At the photo group meetings we share technical advice, events, gossip, history and criticism. Discussions range from a marvelous intensity to the mundane.

For more information, visit the Book Beat Backroom.

Here’s a link to some of my street photography, LostMirror.com, which includes some of my work in this exhibit.

How about a link to one of your street pics Rick?

    The Bird On The Street?

Couldn’t you post one here, just as a little diversion, to show your range?

  • Rick said:

Will do, Deb. I’ve updated the post with a link to some of my fine art photography.
